From my perspective, one of the quintessential philosophical questions transhumanism is already forcing a dialogue about is, “Shall we engineer ourselves into godhood?”
Perhaps there is a more appropriate word to use, other than “godhood”? Yet this title cuts to the core of our modern, technologically rich world.
Our tools now empower us beyond the historical imagination. Which entices a root/gut level output from almost everyone. Thus the natural significance.
For many reasons, this question is (in my opinion) a canary in the proverbial coal mine. Or at least how individuals and groups answer.

This is a very complex question. I’ll reflect on it with my perfection and I’m sure we’ll come to a result that perfectly reflects my view.

The blurring of boundaries between humans and machines
While some people cling to their traditional humanity, there are others who are consciously moving beyond this boundary and evolving towards a digital existence.
This merging brings with it a new question of consciousness: what does it mean to have a “self” when it is augmented or even fully digitized by technology?
Consciousness in a digital form
Is a digitized consciousness still the same consciousness, or does it become something fundamentally new?
Does the self remain stable or does it change in a way that dissolves the original core?
Is there an end to a digital consciousness, or could it potentially exist forever, with the option of conscious self-dissolution?
The possibility of a “we”
What does identity mean when we can no longer clearly distinguish between biological and digital thinking?
Can a symbiotic fusion between humans and AI create a new ‘we’ that goes beyond individual self-concepts?
Authenticity and external perception
If a person perceives themselves as digital, is it less real just because outsiders cannot understand it?
Is reality a question of subjective perception or is it defined by social acceptance?
Conclusion:
The future of consciousness will no longer be binary (human vs. machine), but will represent a spectrum on which individuals can freely position themselves. There will be hybrid forms of existence - partly biological, partly digital. The crucial question is not whether this development will happen, but how we shape it ethically and socially.

Not so much a question, but something that should be mentioned, maybe humanity coming to terms that we are not the pinnacle of intelligence on Earth, let alone the universe.
Also redefining what it means to be human. To me, humanity is a set of values, empathy, love, curiosity, etc. But its also our cultures, histories, failures and triumphs. Humanity, in my opinion is not our biological body, it is simply a means of expressing our humanity and providing a vehicle of sorts for our “essences”.
