What types of supplements do you believe are most effective for supporting a long and healthy life?

All supplements are functional if you need them. There is no point of supplement for the sake of supplementation.
Do the basic:
- Hydratre
- Exercise
- Sleep
- Eat well
- take care of your mind
I’ve found supplements are just one part of the equation—lifestyle matters too. That said, here are the categories I think are most effective for supporting a long, healthy life:
- Antioxidants: These fight oxidative stress, a big aging factor. My go-tos are:
- Vitamin C
- Vitamin E
- CoQ10
- Resveratrol
- Anti-inflammatory supplements: Chronic inflammation ages us fast. Consider:
- Omega-3s (fish oil)
- Turmeric (curcumin)
- Boswellia
- Mitochondrial support: Healthy mitochondria keep energy and cells thriving. Look at:
- NAD+ precursors (NMN, NR)
- PQQ
- Alpha-lipoic acid
- Hormone optimization: Balanced hormones are key for vitality. I like:
- DHEA
- Melatonin
- Adaptogens (ashwagandha, rhodiola)
- Gut health: A strong microbiome ties to longevity. Probiotics and prebiotics are musts.
