Would you consider getting a safe, private(open-source), approved neural implant to enhance your memory or cognitive skills? Why or why not?
My points of view are already known. In other articles, I have explained them in detail.
I also mentioned it in some responses.
yes, I am. I am sure we all will have them in 20 years
I absolutely would, however my fear with these kinds of implants is that it may become a way that corporations push completely unavoidable advertisements on those that own them. If there was a law banning such a practice in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to get one.
No I wouldn’t. I’m more of an Anarcho-Transhumanist, I perfer to make my own implants.
I’m on the same boat as you. Though that does incur a high risk factor—-bodily modifications should be done on my own terms. It should not be regulated by other governmental body or private organization with proprietary ownership.
That’s awesome! Have you done any dry-implants, if so what have you made? I use some DT implants but I am working on an epidermal capacitive input system
Haven’t started anything yet, trying to stabilize life for myself by moving away from an old way of living to start the next chalter of my life but obstacles standing in my way unfortunately. However once I get to a point where I can do the necessary research and practices, my focus is nano implants for quick internal tissue repair, removing any possible blood clots and masses, wipe out cancerous cells instantly, and absorb pathogens to break them down and study them and then use the info to help the white blood cells create antibodies to fight against them.
